Have a Glass of Freshly Squeezed Lemonade

Berry Good Lemonade
Though many options on the market try to be convincing, none can compare to real, fresh-squeezed lemon juice. That unique flavor is what makes lemonade so wonderfully refreshing.
For two glasses:
1 small bamboo skewer
¼ cup fresh blueberries
¼ cup chopped fresh strawberries
2 TBSP granulated sugar
¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 cups cold water
Line blueberries on the bottom of your bamboo skewer and freeze for at least 1 hour, place in a freezer safe container or wrap if storing in freezer longer.
Combine strawberries and sugar in a bowl and mash to a pulp with a fork or whisk. Allow to sit for at least 15 minutes stirring occasionally so sugar can dissolve. Add lemon juice to strawberry pulp. Add cold water and pour over ice in a glass. Place blueberry skewer in the glass as a garnish.
For alternate flavors, you can try other berries with the sugar to create the pulp: blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, and cherry are all wonderful. You can also line different fruits on the skewer to garnish.
